Booking an appointment

You must be 18 years or older to book an appointment. All minors are required to be attended by their parent or legal guardian or provide written approval using our form and the parent or guardian must be present at the time of signing. This form is only applicable for minors aged 14-17. Whether a minor may receive treatment without a parent present in the room is at our discretion. Please note that we DO NOT perform Brazilian Waxes on anyone under the age of 18. Please carefully review our cancellation policy.

Arrival Time:

Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time.

IIf you are late, it may shorten your treatment time. We will do our best to accommodate you depending on the type of treatment, but if you are more than 5 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment.

Cell phones:

All cell phones must be put on silent when entering the spa. A ringing phone during your service is disruptive and, in some cases, can be dangerous. For example, a phone ringing during a Dermaplane procedure could lead to physical harm. All phone conversations should be done outside the spa.

Cancellations/No Shows:

We are an appointment based business, and your scheduled appointment time is reserved for you only. If you need to cancel, a 24 hour cancellation is REQUIRED so that we may free up your appointment time to be available for someone else. If you no show or cancel the day of your appointment, you will be charged 100% of your service total to the card on file. If no card is on file, you will be emailed an invoice. If you choose to not pay it, you will not be able to re-book without paying for your missed appointment plus a 50% deposit for your future appointment.

Appointment Reminders:

As a courtesy, appointment reminders are sent out via text and email 24-48hrs in advance of your appointment. Please follow the link to confirm your appointment.

Sick/Illness:

If you are sick or have a contagious cold, please reschedule your appointment If you show up SICK, the appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged 100% of the scheduled services. If you cancel within 24hrs due to illness, you will need to wait 2 weeks before rescheduling in order to protect Heidi Kenney, other clients and other clients families. No exceptions.

Payments:

We accept cash, debit cards, gift cards, Venmo, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Checks are only accepted by local clients. The first time your check is returned, you will no longer be able to pay with a check.

Children:

Please arrange childcare as absolutely no children under the age of 10 are allowed in the treatment room. There is hot wax, hot towel warmers and various machines that could seriously injure a curious child. No children are to be left in the spa lobby while parents are receiving services.

Gratuity:

Gratuity is not required. Sedona Skin & Wax Studio has transitioned to a tip-free model. Our goal is to provide you with exceptional service and a seamless, enjoyable experience without the need for tipping. If you would like to leave a tip, please note that tips can only be accepted in cash, as credit card tips are not processed

Post Facial:

Bring a hat or brush. I’m great at facials, but your hair will be a “Hair Don’t”, not a “Hair Do.”
